Job Title	General Manager Ground Operations

Client Profile	A growing West African airline setting high standards of operation flying domestic and international routes.
Duties	Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the General Manager Ground Operations (GM GO) is the Post Holder responsible for ensuring safety, punctuality and efficiency at all ground handling and dispatch of aircrafts and passengers. Ensuring that all airport activities are in accordance with standards and policies. • All ground operations general administration and supervision. • Ground handling contracts, personnel recruitment, accountancy & stations budgets. • Accident Coordinator / Field Representative. • Motivate, coach and lead all ground operations force to exceed targets • Maintain good relations with local airport authorities, governmental officials and other airlines • Responsible for all (local and international) airport administration, supervision and security • Motivate and train direct reports in order to provide excellent Customer Service; responsible for dispensing and maintaining discipline of all subordinate ground operations staff at all stations. • Planning and organizing of training programmes and station relief requests for all staff. • Responsible for all station budgets If you are interested in the above opportunity please forward a copy of your up to date CV together with any supporting documentation to Kevin@luap.com. Qualifications	Extensive senior experience in relevant field or proven experience in relevant field. • Skills/Abilities, eg effective written and oral communication skills (English) • Analytical skills, Microsoft Office Suite, Technical systems etc • Knowledge, eg Understanding of cultural issues, requirement for professional development • Personal Qualities eg, ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision, flexible, creative, ability to prioritize in stressful environment • Education on Higher Professional level
