Scope
Reporting to the Product & Catering Manager (P&CM), the In Flight Services Administrator (IFSA) is to assist the P&CM in managing the day to day office functions in relation to supporting the in flight services management team.
Remit of the Role / Function
Work closely with the in flight services management team in support of office support.
Ensure that policies for the in-flight services department are maintained and filed to assist with the smooth running of the department.
Ensure that standards are maintained within the area of jurisdiction.
Work closely with all departments within the Client’s International division as and when required.
Main Duties & Accountabilities
Maintain in-flight service manuals and food specification manuals which are standard reference books.
Maintain in-flight entertainment manuals and film schedules which are standard reference books.
Assist in the compiling catering and other cost analysis data within the in-flight catering department.
Ensure price lists and accounts files are maintained in accordance with the Client’s Accounts and Audit requirements.
Assist where required in the clearance of in-flight products from cargo/freight handling companies.
Collate daily statistics received from outstations in relation to cabin dressing items loaded on departing aircraft.
Certify invoices to verify catering uplifts and other supplies are in accordance with catering uplift schedules and/or delivery notes.
General office duties.
Other Areas of Responsibility
Liaise with suppliers for new orders, price quotations and maintenance of existing orders.
Liaise and assist with the Client’s Sales & Marketing department with any projects or campaigns requiring the use of in-flight equipment, food or advice.
Any other task/duties that may be required on a day to day basis.
