I am working with a fantastic client in Malta who are looking for Compliance Monitoring & Safety Auditor. As the Compliance Monitoring & Safety Auditor you will be instrumental in ensuring that the operations comply with all applicable EASA regulations and internal procedures. As the Compliance Monitoring & Safety Auditor you will be conducting audits, facilitating safety investigations, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the Compliance Monitoring System and Safety Management System.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement audit plans covering EASA Part-145, Part-147, and Part-CAMO scopes.
- Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational procedures.
- Perform audits of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure adherence to contractual and regulatory obligations.
- Monitor organisational activities to ensure ongoing compliance with EASA regulations, including Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014.
- Identify non-conformities, perform root cause analyses, and oversee the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Support the SMS by identifying hazards, assessing risks, and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Participate in safety investigations and contribute to the development of safety performance indicators.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management.
- Contribute to the revision of the documentation.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Maintenance, or a related field. Alternatively, an aircraft maintenance technician qualification with supplementary education acceptable to the company and the competent authority.
- Experience with audits of training organisations (EASA Part-147) and Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisations (EASA Part-CAMO).
- Familiarity with ICAO Annex 19 and Safety Promotion practices.
- Experience working in multinational or multi-approval aviation organisations.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an auditor within aviation organizations, specifically involving EASA Part-145, Part-147, and/or Part-CAMO environments.
- Proven experience in conducting audits and familiarity with compliance monitoring activities.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies, such as the “5 Whys” or Fishbone Diagram.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Proficiency in using audit management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
