Production Worker

FINE DETAIL PRODUCTION WORK:

My client in Foundry Lane, Horsham requires a number of Production Workers to help on their fast-paced assembly line, on a contract basis until the end of 2026.
Early & night shift are available.

Morning shift: 6:30am – 2.30pm. Mon-Fri. £12.21 per hour PAYE, rising to £12.65 per hour after 12 weeks’ work.

Night shift: 10pm – 6am. Mon-Fri. £12.71 per hour during daytime training then £15.89 per hour on nights.

Plus holiday pay in addition on both shifts.

You will:

• Mount electrical components directly on to PCBs (Printed circuit boards).
• Manually assemble their products by following on screen and written instructions.
• Use hand and/or power tools to assemble units.
• Work to tight timelines.
• Run production machinery and use ATE (Automated test equipment) to test finished goods – recording data to Access database.
• Quality check completed work.
• Follow strict safety protocol.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Experience in manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with APC / manual insertion preferred.
• Fine detail manual production experience, or experience in a similar dexterous role.
• Ability to follow written instructions in English accurately.
• Have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Be able to read and speak English.
• Physically capable of performing tasks involving standing, bending, light lifting and comfortable working in a mixed seated/standing environment.
• Be a Team Player.
• Candidates will need to provide their own safety shoes.
