Our client has an opportunity for a ADA Software Engineer to join them on a 12-month contract.

Working as part of a dynamic team to develop and deliver innovative solutions by exploiting a wide portfolio of software technologies, you will work as part of a small team and be empowered to work individually with little supervision.

Role: ADA Software Engineer
Location: Bristol, fully onsite
Hourly Rate: £70 per hour via an Umbrella company, inside IR35
Hours: 37 per week, a compressed 4 day week is available
Clearance: SC required before starting, UK Eyes Only due to project

What you’ll be doing:

  • To undertake a full range of engineering activities in line with relevant processes, quality and other requirements.
  • The role will involve Ada code development and verification.
  • The role will involve software V&V, primarily using target-based equipment containing the software under test and complex simulations of other Missile subsystems.

Requirements:

Essential

  • Experience of both UML (Rhapsody) and Ada (AdaCore).
  • Knowledge of DOORs and IBM Config Management tooling (EWM) would be useful.
  • Suitable skills and experience in Integration testing and debugging.
  • Experience of working in High Dependability systems would be beneficial.
