Our client has an opportunity for an Assembly Technologies Engineer to join them on a contract basis until December 2024. You will be responsible for developing and delivering new assembly technology projects that will benefit the business across the Broughton plant.
Role: Assembly Technologies Engineer
Location: Broughton, Flintshire. Fully onsite
Hours: 35 hours across 4.5 days
Clearance: BPSS required before starting
Hourly Rate: £35.03 per hour via Umbrella – inside IR35
£26.48 PAYE

What you’ll be doing:

  • The successful applicant will have the autonomy to develop and deliver new projects on behalf of the manufacturing technologies assembly team.
  • You will have the opportunity to work alongside other areas of the Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Team to identify strategic opportunities to develop and implement across the plant.
  • There will be scope to lead a number of different types of projects including; Continuous Improvement Projects, Environmental projects, Health & Safety Projects as well as providing technical support to the manufacturing operations department.

Requirements:

  • Project management experience highly desirable
  • Drilling/ assembly/ technical experience
  • Technical background in manufacturing engineering, background knowledge in drilling
  • Fluent English negotiation level (commercial and technical).
  • Analytical skills / Problem solving skills
  • Strong team player
