I am recruiting Skilled/Indentured Skilled CNC Miller to work onsite in Yeovil, Somerset for a 6 month contract initially.

Contract hours: Night shift. Full-time.

Pay rates:
* £28.49 per hour PAYE (Skilled Worker) OR;
* £29.31 per hour PAYE (indentured Skilled Worker)
Both rates attract holiday pay in addition (An extra £3.41 – £3.52 per hour).

The role will involve CNC Milling of Aerospace Equipment, in accordance with Manufacturing Instructions, Specifications and Customer/Regulator Requirements

Main responsibilities:
* Machining (Programming, setting & running of 3 axis milling centres)
* OCQ – Operator Control of Quality
* Ensuring work is completed on time and to the required standard to meet delivery requirements
* Interpreting Engineering Drawings, following the process layout and documentation procedures

Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Engineering Apprenticeship (Desirable but not Essential)
* Knowledge of machining, specifically CNC Milling
* An understanding of CNC Milling within the Aerospace industry
* Knowledge of hand measuring equipment, such as Vernier, Micrometer, Thread and Plug Gauges
* High standard of Health & Safety
* Working in a Customer-focused environment and achieving targets
* Working with Designers and Engineers
* PC literate

Any further training requirements will be provided:
PC skills (incl. Company Operating Systems), Manual Handling, 5S, HOS Principles and general Health & Safety

Vetting will include a drug screen & 5 years’ referencing.
