CNC Turner

Seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join a leading aerospace manufacturing and MRO business.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-precision aircraft components in a regulated and quality-driven setting.
You will play a key role in the manufacture and overhaul of precision bushes, sleeves, and related components, ensuring all work meets strict aerospace standards and company procedures.

Role: CNC Turner
Salary: £33,860 – £38,000 including shift allowance
Location: West London
Hours: 37.5 hours/week. (Week one – 6am-2pm, Week two – 2pm-10pm)

Main responsibilities:

• Manufacture aircraft bushes and components to tight tolerances in line with company procedures (OHM, CMM, SOPM)
• Operate 2- and 3-axis CNC lathes with Fanuc controls
• Program CNC machines (Fanuc) where required
• Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings
• Use imperial measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Carry out rework and overhaul activities within an MRO environment

Ideal candidate profile:

• Proven experience operating CNC lathes (2- and 3-axis) with Fanuc controls
• CNC programming experience
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience working to tight tolerances
• Aerospace experience is advantageous but not essential
• GCSEs (or equivalent), including English
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment
• Flexibility required for overtime and occasional weekend work
