A unique opportunity has arisen with my client for a Composite Technician on a permanent basis. The role will be suitable for an ambitious composite technician seeking a fast-paced rewarding environment to work in.

Role: Composite Technician – Workshop
Salary: Upon Application
Location: Shannon

Responsibilities:

  • Compliance with my clients standards of Safety, Quality & 5S.
  • Compliance with the organisational policies and procedures detailed in the clients MOE and supporting manuals.
  • Maintaining all aircraft and or components for which the Company is responsible, in a serviceable and airworthy condition by performing all maintenance tasks assigned to you.
  • Understanding and reading of SRM’s, Aircraft drawings, Boeing and Airbus Process Standards.
  • Good knowledge of composite repair techniques including, but not limited to, wet lay-ups, pre-preg repairs, honeycomb core replacements, metal-metal bonding.
  • Competent at performing room temperature cures, use of heat lamps, vacuum bagging, hot bonding equipment.
  • Inspection, repair, rework, and installation of aircraft composite parts, both off wing in the Workshop and on wing.
  • Ability to perform fastener removal and installation in composite structures.
  • Carry out all repairs and tasks using the relevant approved Repair Manuals, Drawings/Technical Instructions as provided by the OEM.
  • Ensures relevant repair documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Hold a valid aircraft standards-based qualification with a minimum of 4 years aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Detail oriented with exceptional time management and multi-tasking ability.
  • Excellent coordinating and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet schedules.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
