Our client has an opportunity for a Business Change Agent to join them on a 6 month contract with likely extension.

The successful candidate will work closely and support the Operational Business Development Manager / Business Improver and report into the Integration Manager.

Role: Business Change Agent
Location: Broughton, Flintshire – fully onsite
Hourly Rate: £26.75 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35
Hours: 35 hours per week

What you’ll be doing:

  • Maintaining a robust management and resource process for Continuous Improvement projects. Liaise with functional leaders, front line managers, technicians and operators as part of a multi functional team to drive change.
  • Ensure improvements are identified and followed to ensure a safe working environment, driven through departmental objectives and management.
  • Support SQCDP continuous improvement activities highlighted within the business, including local cost reduction projects.
  • Assist in the development of 5-10 year investment strategy including tooling replacement, reporting of critical asset risks and replacement needs.
  • Support the completion of CPR 1053, TCO and PUWER assessments in a timely manner.
  • Assist in preparing monthly CDT reviews, ensuring accurate reporting and updates within Rate, Enablement and Quality Moonshot packs. This preparation will involve measuring and reporting of KPI’s.
  • Support in the development of polypoly tools and training needs, executing training plans to enable future rate steps.
  • Participate in management go-look-see providing support to the local Operational Teams
  • Support with Multi-functional team to enable AOS / MES roadmaps / Tactical Implementation Plan (TIP) with operational teams

Requirements:

Essential

  • Applicants will be highly motivated, customer focused and have experience of delivering improvement projects.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with autonomy.
  • Knowledge of EHS process and procedures would be an advantage
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with a wide range of people across functional departments within the organisation.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Project management experience in manufacturing or aerospace
