Director of Business Development

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Director of Business Development to join our client on a permanent basis. As the Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for leading and executing the company’s commercial growth strategy within the aftermarket MRO and aircraft component trading sector

Role: Director of Business Development
Salary: On Application
Contract: Monday – Friday.
Location: Florida

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth within the aftermarket MRO and aircraft component trading market
• Leverage an established industry network to generate immediate business opportunities and pipeline
• Identify, originate, and secure new business with airlines, MROs, lessors, and trading partners
• Lead commercial negotiations for component sales and trading agreements
• Establish and structure the U.S. business development function, including processes and performance metrics
• Provide market intelligence, pricing strategy insight, and competitive analysis
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
• Work cross-functionally to ensure efficient execution of transactions and long-term client relationships

Education and Experience:

• Minimum 10+ years of sales experience within the aftermarket MRO industry, specifically in trading aircraft components
• Strong and active industry contact base within North America and globally
• Demonstrated track record of revenue generation and closing high-value deals
• Experience working as a sales consultant is strongly preferred – candidates who can bring active business and leads without restrictive non-compete limitations are highly desirable
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build a function from the ground up
