My client, the Training Academy one of the world leaders in airplanes design and construction, is looking for an:

Role: Ground Training regulatory specialist
Pay: To be defined on the basis of experience
Location: Varese – Italy
Contract: 1 years renewable

Main Responsibilities

  • Evaluating the impacts of new regulatory and internal requirements on the MTO documentation and define the necessary actions to implement all changes on time;
  • Drawing up and keeping updated the exposition manuals, procedures and other relevant documents related to the MTO;
  • Reviewing the ground training processes mapping in order to make them more simple and effective;
  • Delivering ground training process and procedures and aviation legislation courses for LHTA ground instructors and customers;
  • Collaborating in the development and implementation of the projects related to the Ground training digitalization processes;
  • Collecting and monitoring the KPIs used by the Ground Training department;
  • Drafting of reports, presentations and letters for Ground Training department (e.g. reports and presentations for authority audits, reports highlighting differences among the applicable Competent Authority requirements, letters to quality department/ authority);
  • Supporting auditing activities (internal and external) involving the MTO.

Requirements

  • Hold a technical diploma;
  • Have proven experience in an aviation organisation (e.g. MTO, CAO, CAMO, AMO-145);
  • Have a good knowledge of the EASA regulatory framework;
  • Have a very good knowledge of the EASA continuing airworthiness regulation;
  • Have a very good knowledge of the Office Suite (especially Word and PowerPoint);
  • Shall be proficient in Microsoft Visio, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop;
  • Have the ability to work maintaining an organized approach with attention to precision and accuracy;
  • Have a good command of both written and spoken Italian;
  • Have a good command of both written and spoken English, and

ADVANTAGEOUS REQUIREMENTS

  • Hold an aeronautical engineering degree;
  • Have proven experience of at least 1 year in an Aviation Training Organisation (e.g. MTO, ATO);
  • Have proven experience as aviation quality auditor;
  • Have proven experience in drawing up exposition manuals of aviation organisations;
  • Hold a certificate of training attesting his/her currency on aviation legislation;
