Helicopters Flight Instructor

My client is looking for a Helicopter Instructor Pilot to conduct in-aircraft initial conversion and/or recurrent flight training onsite and at customer location and to complete course paperwork as required by the company and to assist in the development of course training material.

Contract: permanent

Main Responsibilities

To deliver helicopters standardized pilot training in accordance with (IAW) company pilot training syllabi- Evaluation of student throughout the training process. Alerting US Chief Flight Instructor Pilot of any training issue.
– Preflight instruction and briefings
– Preflight training requirements in OTD (other training devices)
– In-flight training
– Post-flight debriefing
– Course paperwork
Prepare coursework as directed by US Chief Flight Instructor Pilot
Demonstrations and Ferry flights as required by the company
Maintain flight hours, pilot and medical certification requirements IAW company requirements

Requirements

• 2,500 total hours Helicopter
• 1,000 hours twin turbine helicopter – preferred
• 300 hours instrument – actual/simulated

Competencies & Attributes:

• Instructor background in helicopters
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Strong IFR experience and knowledge
• Experience in the development of aviation training material
• A119 trained, 150 hours as PIC on type preferred
• IT skills: Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• FAA Rotorcraft Commercial Certificate, ATP Preferred
• FAA CFI/CFII
• EASA Preferred
• Valid FAA Medical, minimum Second-class, First preferred
