HUMS Specialist – Malaysia

My client is currently looking for a senior Diagnostic Support Engineer dedicated to HUMS data analysis

Role: Diagnostic Support Engineer dedicated to HUMS data analysis
Location: Kuala Lumpur (KL)
Shifts: from Monday to Friday

ACTIVITIES:

Diagnostic Support Engineering within the Customer Support, Services & Training
Organization provides support to the in-service fleet. It represents the primary
interface to Customers for technical requests linked to HUMS data and Diagnostic
evaluations.
Diagnostic Support Engineering tasks include to:
Perform the HUMS data analysis on Customer request:
– Transmission/Rotors health monitoring and avionic failures evaluation.
– Manage and analyze HUMS data for entire HUMS equipped fleet.
– Coordinate with Design Organization and HUMS system vendor to identify
possible improvements.
– Assist in helicopter troubleshooting activity.
– Collaborate with Service Engineering in special event analysis.
– Keep the HUMS related maintenance activity traced and recorded

REQUIREMENTS:

Shall be bachelor graduate or diploma holder in:
– Aerospace/Aeronautic Engineering
– STEM disciplines
– Fluent in English
– Basic knowledge of the time signal/frequencies/spectra analysis
– Pro-activity to timely complete the assigned tasks
– Ability to communicate professionally in written responses to e-mails and
submitting reports
– Good interest in Aeronautics (helicopters)
– Prepared for possible travel
