As a Legal Counsel, you will play a crucial role in providing legal guidance and support to our client’s operations. You will work closely with various departments within the company to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, mitigate legal risks, and safeguard the company’s interests.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice and support to the leasing operations of the company.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate agreements, contracts, and other legal documents.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and industry standards governing leasing activities.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the leasing industry.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, finance, and operations teams, to address legal issues and provide strategic guidance.
  • Identify legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
  • Handle legal disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution methods.
  • Manage relationships with external legal counsel and oversee outsourced legal services when necessary.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on legal matters and compliance requirements.
  • Assist in developing and implementing corporate governance policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law from a reputable institution; Master’s degree or equivalent is a plus.
  • Licensed to practice law in Saudi Arabia.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a legal counsel, preferably in the leasing or financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian laws and regulations related to leasing, commercial transactions, and corporate matters.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical solutions.
  • Proven track record of effectively managing legal risks and disputes.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
