Logistics / Warehouse Worker

I’m seeking a Logistics / Warehouse Worker to join my client in Watling Street, Cannock, WS11 on a contract basis
As a Logistics / Warehouse Worker, you will be storing materials, picking, packing and scanning orders.

Role: Logistics / Warehouse Worker (Contract)
Pay: £12.71 per hour PAYE
Location: Cannock, Staffs
Hours: 40 hours per week. Monday – Friday. 8am – 4.30pm

Main responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship) to deadlines
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
• Complete diary logs into inventory
• Report any discrepancies
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment

Ideal candidate profile

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Worker
• Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems; preferably SAP
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Ability to understand safe lifting practices
• Current forklift license (Preferable, not essential)
• Must already hold unrestricted rights to live and work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available.
• Essential – Able to pass a drug screen test prior to starting
