Our client has an opportunity for a B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. The Avionics Engineer will support customer requirements by carrying out and supervising aircraft engineering tasks on aircraft/equipment. This is a mobile role covering sites in the UK South.

General Aviation:
The Role:
As a Mobile Avionic Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Our client supports their customer requirements by carrying out and supervising electrical/avionic aircraft engineering tasks.
This role can be based at either Middle Wallop, Boscombe Down, Benson. Yeovilton
Responsibilities:
Providing a signature when appropriate to release an aircraft to service after either defect rectification or scheduled maintenance.
Supervising engineering and Flight Line activity on aircraft and associated equipment in conformity with authorised schedules, technical publications and instructions ensuring highest standards of maintenance are maintained.
Carrying out scheduled and corrective maintenance of the Grob 115E trainer fleet to ensure airworthiness is maintained to meet requirements.
Undertaking or supervising, as directed, the investigation, diagnosis and rectification of defects and submission of reports as required.
Essential Requirements:
- UK CAA Part 66, B2 AML.
- Supervisory experience in a Civil/Military Aviation environment.
- Ability to demonstrate practical and theoretical standards required.
- Applications from ex forces technicians are welcome.
- Security Clearance: Must be able to achieve BPSS / SC clearance.
