Motor Transport Team Leader

Our client has an opportunity for a Motor Transport Team Leader to join them on a permanent basis. You can play your part as a Motor Transport Team Leader at our clients RAF Halton site, you will be tasked with the efficient running of Motor Transport Control.

Role: Motor Transport Team Leader
Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Hours: Full time / Permanent
Salary: Discussed Upon Application
Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS clearance.

Responsibilities:

• The vehicle routing and the co-ordination of journeys.
• The upkeep of vehicle car passes and the Eric fuel key system.
• Ensuring drivers are fully briefed of their task. i.e., pick up points in/out of scope.
• Ensuring vehicles are fully serviceable before use.
• Recording any vehicle faults in the fault register.

Skills / Experience:

• Demonstrable operational experience in a similar environment.
• Demonstrates that they are Articulate in oral and written communication.
• Demonstrates a high level of Excel and Word skills.

Qualifications for the Survival Equipment Supervisor:

• Appropriately qualified and experienced in Transport operations.
• Required to pass the MoD DJTO (Defence Junior Transport Officer) Course.
• Required to meet the driving standards for operating LGV & PSV vehicles, Driver CPC, including holding a Digital Tachograph Card.
