NDT Inspector Level 2

On behalf of our client, we are looking for several NDT Inspector – Level 2 to join them on a permanent basis.

Role: NDT Inspector – Level 2
Pay: DOE
Contract: Permanent
Location: Poland

Responsibilities

• To inspect components for discontinuities to prescribed specifications and keep log up to date.
• Maintain NDT equipment and standards in line with the international, Cosworth and customer requirements.
• In addition to the above, the NDT inspector will be expected to fulfil any other reasonable requirements consistent with departmental objectives.
• Maintain consumables levels.
• Keep personal qualifications including eye tests up to date.
• Consider the health and safety, environmental and energy impact of all activities.

Essential Skills and Experience

• NDT Level 2 qualification to EN4179 / NAS 410 for ET (Eddy Current) or UT (Ultrasonic).
• Experience and qualification for PT and/or MT is an advantage.
• Experience in UT Phased array and/or UT Immersion.
• Experience with ET automated inspection [C-scan]
• Computer literate in Microsoft office.
• A good understanding of NDT International standards.
• A good understanding of Quality Standards AS9100 and IS09001.
• Experience in Aircraft Engine Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul
