I am recruiting an experienced NDT Level 2 Technician with minimum 400 hours relevant FPI experience in the past 12 months, to join my forward-thinking, well established but rapidly expanding aerospace client in the Warwick area. If you’re Level 3, please apply as I have another opportunity!

This is a permanent opportunity within a Part-145 approved environment, offering stability, development, and long-term career progression.
They offer a supportive team environment working across inspection, repair, and engineering functions.

** Applicants MUST hold a valid AEROSPACE Level 2 NDT certification (EN 4179 / NAS 410, PCN Aerospace, ASNT, or equivalent acceptable to a Part-145 organisation).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry out NDT inspections as a certified Level 2 technician, primarily using Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) within the scope of Part-145 approval
  • Perform inspections in accordance with approved NDT procedures, OEM manuals (CMM, SRM, AMM), and Part-145 MOE requirements
  • Set up, verify, and calibrate NDT equipment using approved reference standards and calibration blocks
  • Interpret and evaluate inspection results against OEM acceptance criteria
  • Accurately complete inspection records, NDT reports, and electronic MRO documentation
  • Raise findings, discrepancies, and non-conformances in line with regulatory and internal quality procedures
  • Maintain full traceability of inspections, equipment, consumables, and records
  • Work in compliance with human factors, FOD control, and aviation safety standards
  • Support CAA/EASA, customer, and internal audits as required
  • Maintain personal certification, vision requirements, and continuation training

Ideal Candidate profile:

  • Valid Aerospace Level 2 NDT certification (EN 4179 / NAS 410, PCN Aerospace, ASNT, or equivalent acceptable to a Part-145 organisation)
  • Proven experience working within a Part-145 MRO or similarly regulated aerospace environment
  • Minimum 400 hours relevant NDT experience within the last 12 months per applicable method
  • Current near vision and colour vision meeting aerospace NDT requirements
  • Strong knowledge of OEM manuals, aerospace standards, and controlled procedures
  • Ability to work independently within the limits of Level 2 authorisation
  • Inspection of engine components, aircraft structures, landing gear, or composite assemblies
  • Familiarity with Part-145 MOE and electronic MRO systems
  • Previous involvement in regulatory or customer audits
  • Flexibility for occasional away-from-base work, where required

Salary will be fair and dependent on each individual’s experience.

If you are interested in applying for this position, and you meet the above requirements, please apply immediately.
