Job Title: On-Wing Operations Manager
Location: Hounslow, London Heathrow Airport
Contract Type: Permanent, Fulltime

Scope of Role
Accountable for the management, leadership, delivery and compliance of our clients LHR On-Wing Operations function. Ensuring all operational activities are carried out IAW the relevant company policies, procedures, regulatory requirements and safety legislations. This role reports directly into the Head of EMEA region.

Role Accountabilities:
- Operational performance and delivery via execution of the delivery plan / schedule
- Adherence to company HSE, safety, quality and compliance standards, policies and procedures
- Functional adherence and compliance to regulatory legislation and company approvals (MOE)
- Delivery reporting and data analysis to identify and implement process improvements
- Operational delivery in line with budget forecasts
- Lead, coach and develop the On-Wing operations team
- Resource management in line with HR policies and procedures
- Ensuring capability, training and competence in line with strategic operational demand profile
- Collaborate and communicate effectively within muti-functional and diverse teams
- Communicate and build strong connections with colleagues, suppliers, partners and customers
- Read, interpret and understand approved technical data (e.g. AMM, EM, SB’S, AD’S)
- Support regulatory, customer and internal audits
- Implementation of new capabilities to enable future growth
- Sponsor, lead and co-ordinate operational improvement projects
- lead and support quality and compliance investigations (5 why & RCA)
- Support long term load and capacity planning
- Able to work flexible hours and available for ad-hoc functional escalations outside of normal operating hours
Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience of managing and leading large teams in an aviation / MRO / 145 maintenance environments
- Depth of knowledge of 145 regulations, approved maintenance data, human factors and SMS
- Familiarisation of AMOS or other MRP systems is preferable
