Paint Shop Sealer

My client is looking for a Paint Shop Sealer to join on them on a permanent basis.

As a Paint Shop Sealer, you will be responsible for masking, sealing and marking components prior to painting.

Role: Paint Shop Sealer
Pay: From £21,300 + shift allowance per annum PAYE
Location: Hayes, Middlesex
Permanent Role
Hours: 37.5 Hours per week Shifts (06.00 – 14.00 and 13.55 – 21.55)

Job Profile
Duties and responsibilities
· To clean parts prior to sealing
· To ensure that two pack sealant is mixed correctly.
· To receive components from the machine shop and seal parts to industry standards.
· Mask components prior to paint
· Embrace and actively improve LEAN processes.
· An awareness and understanding of responsibilities outlined in the Company’s environmental procedures.

Skills/Experience Required
* Around 37.5 hours per week.
* Able to work shifts (06:00 – 14:00 and 13:55 – 21:55), may be asked to work any recognised shift pattern.
* The position requires from time-to-time flexibility in working hours including working overtime at weekends.
* Workshop has fluctuating temperature dependent upon time of year and operations underway in other Production departments.
* The job requires the applicant to understand manual handling
* The ability to keep your working area clean and tidy and to a 5s standard
* Occasional heavy lifting required
* Able to sit down or stand for prolonged period

· The ability to work within a team environment.

Education & Training
· Educated at least at GCSE level.
