Powerplant Manager APU

Our client is a major Saudi based MRO. On their behalf we are looking to recruit a Powerplant Manager with exceptional knowledge of APU Maintenance and repair, The Manager will be responsible for managing a team of technicians, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and optimising the performance of all APU units.

Key accountabilities.

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of all APU systems, including troubleshooting, servicing, and testing.
• Manage a team of technicians by providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient operations.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent downtime and ensure maximum performance of all APU units.
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to operations.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

Education/Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing APU systems maintenance, preferably in an aviation or manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team and interact with other departments.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in APU maintenance.
• Ability to analyse data, identify issues, and implement effective solutions to optimize APU performance.
• Certification in APU maintenance is a plus.
