Our client is a major Saudi based engine repair & overhaul facility. On their behalf we are looking to recruit a Powerplant Manager with LEAP expertise to oversee the operation and maintenance of LEAP aircraft engines. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable performance of customer LEAP engines while adhering to established safety and regulatory standards.

Key accountabilities.
- Lead and manage the LEAP engine maintenance team, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of all maintenance activities.
- Oversee engine maintenance planning and resource allocation to achieve delivery schedules, turnaround time targets, and customer commitments.
- Monitor engine performance, reliability, and maintenance trends, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions where required.
- Act as the primary technical focal point for customers, OEMs, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on all LEAP engine-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, quality, safety, and airworthiness requirements.
- Manage maintenance costs, material requirements, and external repair activities to support operational and financial objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop, mentor, and support engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and technical excellence.
Education/Experience Required
- Degree qualified in Mechanical, Aerospace, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Extensive experience supporting LEAP engines within an airline, OEM, or MRO environment.
- Strong technical expertise in powerplant systems, engine performance, reliability, and maintenance programmes.
- Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary engineering or maintenance teams.
- Thorough understanding of EASA, FAA, GACA, and applicable aviation regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and operational performance improvement initiatives.
- Strong project management, planning, and organisational skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building capabilities.
- Ability to make sound decisions in a dynamic operational environment while managing competing priorities and deadlines.
