Production Scheduler

On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Production Scheduler on an initial 12-month contract. As the Production Scheduler you will ensure that the company has the capacity and capability to deliver against production requirements.

Role: Production Scheduler
Pay: £30.76 per hour Via Umbrella
Location: Broughton
Contract: Monday – Friday 35 hours per week, 12 months
IR35 Status: Inside
Security Clearance: BPSS

Responsibilities

• Producing and maintaining the mid to long term MPS (Master Production Schedule) for all the products across in the plant.
• Updating tactical build plans, which are used to optimise production in the shorter term.
• Calculating resource requirements, to ensure we have workload / workforce alignment
• It is the Planning team who monitors the adherence to the build plan, whilst ensuring it is achievable.

Essential Skills

• Experience of Production Scheduling.
• Proficiency in oral and written communication skills.
• Collaborating well within a team.
• Able to interface with other functions in a production environment.
• A keenness to learn and develop.
• Experience of using Google suite and similar digital tools (e.g MS Office).
• A working knowledge of Python coding would also be an advantage.
