Production Worker / SMT (Afternoon shift)

SMT/FINE DETAIL ASSEMBLY WORK:
My client in Foundry Lane, Horsham requires Production Workers to help on their afternoon shift assembly line, on a rolling contract basis.

Monday – Friday, 1:30pm- 9pm.
£12.21 per hour PAYE, rising to £12.65 per hour after 12 weeks’ work.

You will:

• Work within the SMT (Surface Mount Technology) team, mounting electrical components directly on to PCBs (Printed circuit boards).
• Manually assemble their products by following on screen and written instructions.
• Use hand and/or power tools to assemble units.

• Work to tight timelines.
• Use ATE (Automated test equipment) to test finished units – recording data to Access database.
• Quality check completed work.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• SMT experience preferred, but not essential. Fine detail production experience also accepted.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately
• Have excellent hand-eye coordination & dexterity
• Be able to read and speak English.
• Some manual fine-detail assembly experience would be preferred.
• Candidates will need to provide their own safety shoes.

Additional Information:

• All candidates must pass a drug screening test prior to starting.
• Free onsite parking and a short walk from Horsham train station and bus stops.
• Please note – This is not a seasonal holiday job. It will continue full-time beyond the summer holidays.
