Project Manager

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Project Manager to join them. As the Project Manager, you will report to the PMO Director and be supporting our internal project delivery within the digital team.

Role: Project Manager
Salary: On Application
Contract: Monday – Friday – 40 hours per week
Location: Bedwas or Gatwick – 3 days onsite

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about project strategy, adjustments, and progress through the Program Board
• Facilitate with BAs end-user requirements gathering through to sign-off approval
• Manage the PMO log and resource allocation to ensure delivery against plan
• Facilitate and plan sprint releases for the Business Information Team
• Utilise best industry standards and techniques throughout project delivery
• Measure performance and always look for areas of improvement
• Manage the introduction of other workstreams into the program board and share PM knowledge across areas of the business’s workstreams

Essential Experience

• Proficient in the use of MS Project
• Proficient in the use of Jira software
• Proven ability to complete projects against scope, timeline & budget
• Experience in corporate PMO
• Strong knowledge of Scrum and Agile
• Outstanding communication skills and the ability to manage conflict and change management
• Strong self-management and organisation skills
