Role Overview: Company Type: Aircraft Component Services Specialist Location: South of the UK Type: Full-time
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Actively engage in continuous improvement initiatives, including the documentation, promotion, and objective reporting of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics for quality and Process Excellence and Assessment Review (PEAR) activities.
  • Collaborate with organizational and departmental leadership to facilitate the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Quality Assurance (QA) / Quality Control (QC) programs. Provide guidance on resource allocation necessary to effectively execute quality tasks within respective departments.
  • Develop and manage an internal and external audit schedule for designated Group entities. Conduct audits in accordance with organizational compliance manuals and report findings accordingly.

Job Description:

  • Collaborate with top-level management to establish and regularly review Quality Objectives and Quality Policy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Contribute to the identification and assessment of risks within designated Group activities, and assist in developing strategies for risk acceptance or mitigation.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of Quality Management System (QMS) data to assess effectiveness and identify opportunities for continual improvement. This includes evaluation of data derived from monitoring, measurement, and other relevant sources.
  • Manage the Maintenance Operations Report (MOR) and Safety Management System (SMS) reporting systems, ensuring thorough safety assurance and promotion.
  • Maintain proficiency in and stay updated on regulatory standards such as EASA Part 145, EASA Part 21 Subpart G, and ISO 9001/AS9100, as well as company compliance manuals.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years Quality/Auditing within aerospace/aviation industry, specifically EASA/CAA/FAA 145.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of a QMS.
  • Experience in compliance auditing.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of QMS policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of EASA Part 145, 21.G, FAR145 regulations, AS9100 and best practice.
