My client is currently developing a new-generation single-turbine helicopter, delivering high performance and offering the largest cabin in its class.
It is looking for:

Role: Safety and Reliability Engineer
Pay: To be defined on the basis of experience
Location: Zurich – Switzerland
Contract: Contractor, until december 2023, renewable.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct safety activities according to the safety programs, time and cost effective
  • Prepare system safety documentation, such as SFHA, P/SSA following client’s defined methodologies
  • Review of suppliers’ safety and reliability documentation for the assigned systems
  • Liaise with engineering design departments, airworthiness department, customer support and suppliers for safety and reliability subjects

Qualifications

  • A degree (Bsc or Msc) in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in safety in aviation industry, experience in rotorcraft industry would be beneficial
  • Familiar with Isograph FaultTree+ or PTC Windchill
  • Knowledge of SAE ARP4761 and ARP4754A
  • Knowledge of aviation regulations (FAR 27/CS-27, or FAR 29/CS-29, or FAR 23/CS-23, or FAR 25/CS-25) are required
  • Team player skills, self-driven attitude, strong networking skills
  • Interest to be actively involved in development and certification of the current helicopter and future products
  • Good English language skills (verbal and in writing) – Minimum B2
