My client is looking located in Southeastern Pennsylvania is looking for:

ROLE: SIMULATOR FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR
LOCATION: PHILADELPHIA, USA
CONTRACT: PERMANENT

Instruct helicopter type ratings, recurrent flight training and special flight courses for AWTA in accordance with the relative syllabus, in a timely and professional manner. Participate on the development of new training courses and ensure a high level of paperwork and record keeping. Occasionally deliver the courses off site.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver Pilot Type Rating and Recurrent Flight courses
  • Deliver other training courses as applicable
  • Study and train as needed to remain current as an instructor (and Examiner) pilot him/herself, remaining informed and up-to-date on the latest standards, procedures and regulations as applicable
  • Be responsible to complete all required training paperwork in a timely and accurate fashion
  • Assist in the ongoing development of AWTA curriculum, products and services
  • Maintain and update training materials and publications.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION:

Education:

  • Commercial Rotorcraft Helicopter Certificate with Instrument Rating.
  • 3000+ hours Total Flight Time.
  • CFI required CFII preferred.

COMPETENCIES & ATTRIBUTES:

  • Instructor and/or examiner back ground in helicopters
  • Rotorcraft Helicopter Certificate
  • Strong IFR experience and knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal communications skills and MS Office knowledge.

Licensure/Certification:

  • FAA Commercial Rotorcraft Helicopter with Instrument Required.
  • FAA CFI required CFII preferred
