On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit someone as a Software Engineer for 12 months. As the Software Engineer you will join the delivery team undertaking the development of an application-level C++ Engine which handles data processing; computer cluster management; and interfaces between different Matlab/Simulink models. The focus of this work is efficiency and run-time improvements of the simulations through the optimisation of GPU and CPU code.

Role: Software Engineer
Pay: Up to £75per hour via Umbrella
Contract: Monday- Friday, 37 Hours per week, 12 month contract
Location: Stevenage
IR35 Status: Inside
Security Clearance: SC to start, UK Eyes only project

Essential Requirements/Skills/Experience

  • C/C++ and CUDA programming
  • Object-Oriented Programming
  • GPU/CPU optimisation
  • GPU/CPU Memory Management
  • Technical report writing

Desirable Requirements/Skills/Experience

  • Network Programming
  • Configuration control and model release processes
  • Continuous Integration and Testing
  • Proficiency in MATLAB and development of models in Simulink
  • Knowledge of RF systems and digital signal processing
