Storeperson

I am seeking a Storeperson to join my super busy client on the outskirts of Burgess Hill, West Sussex. Previous warehouse / stores experience would be beneficial.

The Storeperson will carry out a variety of functions (sometimes physically demanding) providing support to the Stores Manager and department.
This position requires a team player with good attention to detail. and taking ownership of their workload to ensure operational requirements are met.

• Salary: £23,500
• Shift Monday to Friday day shift
• Location: Outskirts of Burgess Hill (Own vehicle beneficial due to their rural location)

Main responsibilities:

• Packaging customer outgoing units for shipment in accordance with company procedures
• Loading and offloading vehicles
• Receiving incoming deliveries, checking against the purchase order, unpacking and booking in.
• Reporting discrepancies should they occur
• Issuing of materials to the production team
• Locating goods after receipt
• Preparing parts to be sent for repair
• Assist with monitoring and acting on requesting the replenishment of consumables stock levels

Ideal candidate profile:

• Hands on with a “Can do” attitude
• Good organisational skills
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to multitask and prioritise your workload. Able to take ownership of workload to ensure operational deadlines are met
• Attention to detail
• Enjoys a fast paced and constantly changing environment, working both in stores and at a desk as necessary
• Already holds the right to live and work in the UK at the time of application.

• 25 days annual leave, increasing with length of service, plus bank holidays
