Technical Incoming Inspector

Our client has an opportunity for a Technical Incoming Inspector to join them on a contract basis until November 2026. You will be carrying out Inspection, Quality Control and Quality Assurance Functions.

Role: Technical Incoming Inspector
Location: Belfast – fully onsite
Hours: 36 per week
Clearance: BPSS required before starting
Hourly Rate: £31.90 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35

What you’ll be doing:

• Carrying out Inspection, Quality Control and Quality Assurance Functions.
• Ensuring product compliance with design specification, customer and approving authority requirements and regulations.
• Providing instruction and advice to operators as and when required.
• Monitoring the Delegated Operator Scheme.
• Working flexibly in groups.
• Writing technical reports to highlight drawing, process and tooling anomalies to instigate investigation and corrective action.

Requirements:

• Applicants must have completed a recognised electrical or mechanical apprenticeship and have a minimum of 2 years’ relevant post apprenticeship experience in an electrical aerospace environment or a manufacturing/assembly or tooling environment.
• Candidates must be familiar with quality control requirements.
• The ability to interpret drawings and specifications, and to communicate effectively is essential.
• Candidates must be able to demonstrate a knowledge of Company manufacturing and assembly practices, requirements and standards.
