We’re seeking a Tooling & Equipment Controller near Heathrow Airport, to join our Maintenance & Facilities team.
You’ll be responsible for the management, control, and oversight of all calibrated tools and equipment within an aviation EASA Part 145 maintenance environment.
You’ll play a key part in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and accountability-keeping the operation running safely, smoothly, and in full regulatory alignment.
Role: Tooling & Equipment Controller – Permanent Position
Location: Near Heathrow, West London
Pay: Up to £30,807 per annum
Hours: 37 Hours per week, Mon-Fri. One week of early shift, one week of late shift.

Main Responsibilities
- Maintain oversight and control of all calibrated tooling and equipment within the Part 145 environment.
- Coordinate the timely maintenance and calibration of tools in line with schedules and aviation regulations.
- Liaise with external calibration providers to manage issues, discrepancies, or delays.
- Inspect and verify tools and equipment upon return from calibration before reintroducing them into service.
- Keep detailed and accurate records to ensure full traceability and regulatory compliance.
- Support internal audits by providing documentation and calibration records.
- Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure tools are available, serviceable, and compliant.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Ideally have experience within an EASA Part 145 aviation maintenance environment.
- Previous experience managing calibrated tooling in a highly regulated setting would be an advantage.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and familiar with MRP systems (ideally SAP).
- A proactive team player with strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
