An opportunity has arisen with my client for a RF Data Link Systems Engineer to join them on a 6-month contract. As the RF Data Link Systems Engineer, you will carry out RF communication system research and design activities for a complex weapon system.

Role: RF Data Link Systems Engineer
Pay: £60 per hour via Umbrella Company
Location: Stevenage or Bristol
Contract: 6 Months
Hours: Monday – Friday, 37 hours per week
Security Clearance: Security Cleared

Responsibilities:

  • RF system performance prediction and assessment
  • Support to development and in-service trials and activities
  • System concept development
  • Requirements definition and management
  • Resolution of customer and trials-related queries
  • Interfacing with the supplier, customer community and its agencies

Skillset/experience required:

  • The successful candidate will be a Systems Engineer with strong experience RF systems
  • Proficiency in the use of MATLAB
  • Top level understanding of RF systems and propagation.
  • Must be able to achieve SC clearance.
  • Have good interaction skills – verbal communication, listening and time management.
