SCOF Systems Engineer

On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a SCOF Systems Engineer on an initial 6 -month contract. As the SCOF Systems Engineer you will provide support to the Delivery of a Milsatcom Ground Control system.

Role: SCOF Systems Engineer
Pay: Up To £80 per day Via Umbrella
Location: Portsmouth
Contract: Monday- Friday, 37 Hours per week, 6 Months contract
IR35 Status: Inside
Security Clearance: Security Clearance required on submission, UK eyes only

Essential Responsibilities

• Requirements analysis, traceability and verification.
• Bill of Materials / Assembly Tree Management.
• Integration, Verification Validation and Test (IVV&T) support.
• Problem Definition, Non-Conformance and Observation recording and tracking.
• Systems Engineering inputs as required – to support planning, schedule and cost activities.
• Ground System level architectural design definition and trade-offs.
• Inform stakeholders on progress and problem resolution.
• Technical proposal inputs.
• Technical support to bidding teams.
• Robust presentation and writing skills

Essential Skills:

• University degree or equivalent in a related discipline
• System of Systems or Large Scale Integration Experience
• Experience of engagement with customers and partners
• Working understanding of satellite control
• Robust presentation and writing skills
