Our client is seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager – Part-145 MRO to lead the day-to-day operations of an approved aircraft component maintenance.
As the nominated CAA Form 4 Post Holder, you will have overall responsibility for ensuring production and maintenance activities are delivered safely, efficiently and in full compliance with applicable Part-145 requirements. You will lead the workshop team, drive operational performance and oversee continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory & Compliance
- Act as the nominated Part-145 Form 4 Post Holder for production and maintenance activities.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with CAA/EASA Part-145 regulations, the MOE, OEM requirements and approved maintenance data.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and support regulatory audits and inspections.
- Ensure audit findings and corrective actions are addressed effectively and within agreed timescales.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality and regulatory compliance across the operation.
Operational Management:
- Lead and oversee daily workshop operations for wheel and brake component maintenance and overhaul.
- Manage production planning, scheduling and capacity to achieve customer turnaround and on-time delivery targets.
- Optimise labour utilisation, workflow, tooling, equipment and material availability.
- Monitor operational KPIs and identify opportunities to improve productivity, throughput and efficiency.
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and capacity constraints.
- Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Safety & Quality Assurance:
- Promote and maintain a strong safety and compliance culture.
- Ensure all maintenance activities meet safety and quality standards.
- Support occurrence reporting and corrective/preventive actions.
- Coordinate closely with Quality and Safety departments.
Personnel Management:
- Ensure all personnel are appropriately qualified, trained and competent for their roles.
- Support recruitment, training and competency development across the workshop.
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels in line with workload and operational requirements.
- Set clear expectations and promote accountability, teamwork and high professional standards.
About You:
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven management experience within an aviation Part-145 maintenance environment.
- Extensive experience in aircraft component maintenance or MRO operations.
- Strong knowledge of Part-145 regulations, MOE requirements and maintenance/certification processes.
- Previous experience as a Form 4 Post Holder or in a comparable regulated maintenance leadership position.
- Proven leadership and operational management experience.
- Experience working with aviation regulatory authorities and supporting audits.
- A strong understanding of quality, safety and SMS principles.
- Experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies; Green or Yellow Belt would be advantageous.
- An engineering or technical qualification in aviation, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
