My client is experiencing a period of growth and is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stores Person to join their busy Stores team.
They are a forward-thinking company who value their employees.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with proven inventory and logistics experience (Aviation stores experience would be very beneficial) to play a key role in this highly regulated environment.

Job Title: Stores Person
Location: Warwick
Salary: £29,000 – £34,000 DOE
Job Type: Full-Time, Mon-Fri. Permanent

Main Responsibilities:

Goods In & Out:

  • Receive and process incoming goods accurately into the system, as well as the dispatch
  • Maintain precise inventory records and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with COSHH regulations, including correct labelling and storage
  • Support purchasing activities for consumables
  • Maintain organised, compliant storage areas in line with procedures
  • Liaise with transport providers and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries
  • Support export processes, ensuring documentation is accurate and compliant
  • Work closely with the Import & Export function on shipment requirements

Material Handling, Inventory, Purchasing & Reporting

  • Process workshop parts into designated storage locations
  • Supply technicians and shopfloor staff with required parts and consumables
  • Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly stores-related reports
  • Analyse stock forecasting data to maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Raise and manage purchase orders based on demand and forecasts
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods

Tool Control (Part 145 Environment):

  • Ensure all tools and equipment are properly controlled, calibrated, and maintained
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards (training provided if required)

Customs & Import/Export Support:

  • Assist with customs procedures and documentation during peak periods
  • Support compliance with import/export regulations
  • Accurately record and maintain shipment data (training provided if required)

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in Stores or an inventory management role
  • Strong understanding of warehouse and inventory control systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office applications
  • Knowledge of COSHH regulations and health & safety standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • ERP or warehouse management system experience (desirable)
  • Forklift licence (preferred)
  • Basic understanding of customs, import/export processes, and compliance
