I am seeking a Warehouse Manager for my client’s small and friendly business in a rural location near Henfield, West Sussex.
Must have previous warehouse experience with a keen attitude to quickly pick up and accurately follow set procedures. Company specific training will be provided.
Please note the successful candidate will be running the stores themselves, fully supported as and when required by other members of the business (non-warehouse staff).
This role may suit a current Warehouse Supervisor or Team Leader who wishes to progress in their career.
Role: Stores Manager
Location: Near Henfield
Salary: £27,000 – £28,000
Hours: Mon-Fri. 08.30 – 17.00
Main responsibilities of the Warehouse Manager:
- Picking, packing and despatching
- Receiving goods and inputting on industry specific Computer system
- Undertaking import/export administration and allocating tariff codes
- Booking shipments online and dealing with couriers
- Daily stock checking and tidying of the stores area
Ideal candidate profile:
- Aerospace stores experience would be beneficial but is not essential
- Strong attention to detail with a ‘Right first time’ work ethic
- Self-motivated
- IT literate with the ability to pick up industry specific software
- Flexible and willing to take on other responsibilities as and when required
- Forklift license an advantage
- Ability to work without supervision

- Own transport preferable due to location (limited bus service nearby)
