Forwarding Agent -Frankfurt

My client is looking for a Forwarding Agent to join their team based in Frankfurt. The role will require organizing transport for aircraft spare parts.

Role: Forwarding Agent
Salary: Upon application
Location: Frankfurt
Shift Pattern: 5 on 2 off – The shift model is as follows: Early Shift: 06-14:30, Middle Shift: 09:30- 18:00, Late Shift : 13:00- 21:30, Night Shift : 21:30- 06.00

Responsibilities:

• Organizing transport for aircraft spare parts
• Carrying out customs clearance including preparing the necessary documentation and testing
• Transport monitoring and identifying alternative solutions in AOG situations
• Communication with customers, partners and authorities

Essential Experience & Qualifications

• Completed training in the logistics industry or other comparable commercial training, ideally an additional degree in the field of logistics
• Experience in sea and air freight export/import
• Innovative, positive and business-oriented thinking and acting
• Determination, high resilience and customer orientation
• Very good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
• Candidates must hold the rights to work in Germany.
