Aircraft Maintenance Manager

Our client is a major Saudi based MRO. On their behalf we are looking to recruit a Chief Specialist, Aircraft Maintenance Oversight, this position is responsible for overseeing and managing all aircraft maintenance activities to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.

Key accountabilities

• Develop and implement maintenance programs and schedules for all aircraft in the fleet.
• Monitor and inspect aircraft maintenance activities to ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards.
• Review and approve maintenance procedures, manuals, and documentation.
• Conduct audits and inspections to assess the effectiveness of maintenance procedures and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide guidance and support to maintenance teams to resolve technical issues and challenges.
• Collaborate with regulatory authorities for certifications, audits, and compliance requirements.
• Analyse maintenance data and reports to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for optimization.
• Participate in the selection, training, and development of maintenance personnel.

Education/Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in aircraft maintenance oversight, with a focus on regulatory compliance and safety.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations and industry standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Certification from relevant aviation authorities (e.g., FAA, EASA) is a plus.
