Aircraft Maintenance Oversight Specialist

Our client is a major Saudi based MRO. On their behalf we are looking to recruit a Senior Specialist in Aircraft Maintenance Oversight to ensure the safe and efficient operation of their aircraft fleet by overseeing all maintenance activities and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key accountabilities

• Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Oversee all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and modifications.
• Monitor maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of all tasks.
• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Manage a team of maintenance technicians and engineers, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Coordinate with external maintenance providers and vendors to ensure quality and cost-effective services.
• Investigate maintenance-related incidents and develop preventive measures to avoid future occurrences.

Education/Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering or related field (master’s degree preferred).
• At least 7 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with a focus on oversight and regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Certification from relevant aviation authorities is a plus.
