An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Aircraft Component Warranty Engineer to work in Mexico City.
My client manages component repairs for their customers’ aircraft and looks after their warranties, to ensure costs are kept as low as possible.
Job Title: Warranty Engineer (Aircraft Components & Repairs)
Location: Mexico City, Mexico (On-site)

This role is pivotal in maximising customer return on investment (ROI) through effective warranty management, supplier engagement, and value engineering activities within the aviation sector.
You will act as a key liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring warranty claims are optimised, contractual entitlements are enforced, and technical issues are resolved efficiently.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimise warranty claims across:
- Components, engines, and expendables
- Line and heavy maintenance events
- Service bulletins and reliability guarantees
- Challenge suppliers on workscope, pricing, and warranty decisions to ensure contractual compliance and cost recovery
- Coordinate and manage contract turnaround time (TAT) remedies, including those within Airbus SSC and Boeing PSAA agreements
- Act as a technical subject matter expert, supporting internal departments and customer queries
- Maintain accurate records of warranty and value engineering outcomes in internal systems
- Deliver regular reporting updates to Program Managers and key stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong, multi-level relationships with customers and suppliers
- Support other overseas teams in delivering warranty management services
- Lead or support program reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify bottlenecks and implement effective solutions to improve operational efficiency
- Contribute to business development activities, including identifying up-selling opportunities
- Travel as required to support aircraft inputs (e.g. C Checks), meetings, and project activities
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience within aerospace, ideally in:
- Warranty management
- Technical services
- Supply chain or value engineering
- Experience working with aircraft maintenance or warranty organisations is highly desirable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
